Road Trips Ideas from Denver: Lunch in a World-Class City

If you live in Denver, it’s possible to get up in the morning and drive to a place that attracts international visitors for its history, culture, and natural beauty, and be there by lunch time. True, you need to have the mindset of a Westerner that any drive under six hours is “close.”

In this Denver Post article, I suggest lunch spots in Sheridan, Wyoming, Aspen, Colorado, Moab, Utah, and Santa Fe, New Mexico. I’m lucky enough to have dined in each of these places (granted, I did also stay overnight!).
